Otranto, an eternal crossroad of peoples and trades, once invaded and destroyed by the Turkish in 1480, is a city that evokes magical atmospheres in every hidden corner. The impressive castle, erected to guard the flourishing port, from which you can enjoy the view of the canal of Otranto, the numerous towers built to defend the coastline against continuos pirate raids and the Cathedral, considered one of the most important monuments of the Romanico Pugliese era, all combine to offer tourists enchanting attractions. Located only 10kms north of Otranto, near the Alimini lakes, you will discover the Conca Specchiulla Resort. Directly on the seafront, it is an ideal place to have a holiday close to nature and from which you can discover the beautiful locations of Salento. A luxurious pine forest stretches for kilometres along the wild and untouched coast, and a sandy beach surrounded by a beautiful rock formation looking onto a sparkling sea, embellish the Resort. The residence consists of family sized villa's in Mediterranean style, spacious and comfortable and with a wide inner patio. Various accommodation possibilities are also offered to our guests. The apartments are located on either ground floor or fist level and are simply furnished and fully functional. A short walk of approximately 400m, following small pathways through the pine trees leads you to tranquil sandy bays, whilst a fully equipped beach is reachable only 5 minutes away. |
